Our client moved house and was tired of how his space looked. He had recently re-upholstered his sofa with fabric that one of his client’s had rejected (very long story). Though he had forwarded some photos to give us an idea of how things looked, we were in no way prepared to actually see how shoddily the reupholstery work had been done – seams were crooked, the wrong colour of thread had been used and the cushions had been poorly stuffed!
He commissioned Candlelight to redo the seat, get new drapes and also get some artwork and accessories.
Here are the before pictures:
The room had a good amount of natural lighting coming in which in my opinion always makes decorating so much easier. We came up with a neutral palette as our background and used pattern and texture in the throw pillows to bring in depth. We also outfitted the windows with smokey grey curtains and black, grey and white patterned sheers. Finally, we converted the sectional and the 2 seater sofa into a detachable U-shaped sofa so as to free up some floor space.
Ok, let the pictures do the talking now.
